Samaritan Homeless Clinic: New Exam Tables to Continue Excellent Care

Thanks to the support of The Dayton Foundation’s Greenlight Grant, made possible from the Foundation’s Fund for the Homeless, the Samaritan Homeless Clinic will be receiving new medical exam tables to ensure all community members, no matter their socioeconomic status, receive quality care. The Clinic has been operating with second-hand exam tables since they moved to their current location in January 2011. Over the past 5 years, much of the equipment has been worn out and is in need of replacement.

We are still actively seeking funding to ensure all the medical exam tables are replaced. If you’d like to enhance the health and well-being of the homeless in our community, please visit our website to make a gift.

It is important that all patients are provided care with respect and dignity and replacing the medical exam tables is an important part of ensuring that happens. Receiving new exam tables will also allow the Samaritan Homeless Clinic to increase capacity, ensuring that the clinic continues to provide care for some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
