Donor Spotlight: Lisa Orr

Donor Spotlight: Lisa Orr

Influenced by the generosity and kindness of her mother, Sharon Keeley, Lisa Orr always wanted to make a difference in the Dayton area, the community that she loves and that has done so much for her.

“I have always had a heart for people in need. People in this community have been so good to me, and I want to give back in return. Life is good!”

The Foundation thanks Lisa for her service on the Board, and looks forward to continuing to work together to transform lives throughout the community! Thank You!

As a lifelong resident of Dayton, Lisa has always maintained a relationship with Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, whether it was raising awareness for the Foundation through the Vintage Clothing event in her youth or serving as a Board member. It is through her interactions with the Foundation that Lisa found one of her true passions supporting the homeless population of Dayton. Her efforts led to the creation of the annual Rays of Hope breakfast to benefit the Samaritan Homeless Clinic as well as Mothers Empowered, where she continues to donate her time and resources to grow and support the event.

Lisa’s positive influence and impact on Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, as well as the whole Dayton community cannot be emphasized enough. Her service has been recognized by the Foundation, as she was previously awarded the Volunteer Champion award, as well as being asked to chair the Community of Caring Gala Committee. Her efforts have brought awareness and support to many of the Foundation’s programs and projects.
