Donor Spotlight: Dr. Dan Schoulties and Dr. Jeff Petry
In this month’s edition of our “Donor Spotlight,” we are pleased to honor Dr. Dan Schoulties and Dr. Jeff Petry, two long-time donors of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation. Both Dr. Schoulties and Dr. Petry completed the Good Samaritan Family Medicine Residency program, in 1981 and 1986, respectively, and have been ongoing donors to the Foundation since the mid-1980s as well.
They were vital resources in the execution of the new Family Medicine Building, sending handwritten personal notes to former Family Medicine Residents, which in turn led to increased gifts from more than 40 physicians.
Partly in thanks to their efforts, over $83,000 was given by physicians and others to the Family Medicine Building fund. In 2015, both doctors were chosen to receive the 2015 Physicians Champion Award for their outstanding and lasting dedication to the work of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
