COVID-19 Response
Our physicians, nurses and other front-line staff are selflessly focused on providing our patients and our community the care they need, all while they share your same concerns about how to stay healthy, and how to prevent spreading COVID-19 to their own families and friends. During this unprecedented time, there have been so many who have reached out to express support for our hospital teams and caregivers and have asked “How can I help?” It means so much, and we thank you deeply for your care and willingness to do what you can — especially as you deal with your own challenges.
In response, Good Samaritan Foundation-Dayton has established a COVID-19 Response Fund to support the emerging needs of our employees and ensure the care of our patients during this unprecedented time.
Some of our employees are likely to need assistance with critical necessities as they continue to provide desperately needed care to our patients. Our hospitals will need further equipment and resources to care for the imminent influx of patients who need testing, monitoring and the advanced care necessary to save lives.
We also launched our Meals for Health Care Heroes campaign, where each $10 donation provides a meal to a dedicated health care hero who is working to care for patients throughout Miami Valley Hospital North? Financial contributions will be used to place orders with local restaurants and caterers in an effort to support community partners, while also letting our health care heroes know they are not in this fight alone.
No gift is too small, and every dollar donated will be used to support our caregiver’s efforts. Thank you for supporting our extraordinary heroes with a gift through our foundation. Your gift will make a lasting difference right now when our community needs it most.
