Meet Mary

Mary planned to return to work a few weeks after her mastectomy. When her recovery took longer than expected, she used up all of her sick days at work and her paychecks stopped. With rent overdue, Mary faced eviction at a time when she needed to keep her stress levels low. Her nurse at Samaritan Breast Center contacted the foundation requesting a check to cover Mary’s rent for the month. Crisis averted! Mary is back at work and feeling better every day.
